SOFTBALL

 
Minor League Instructional Softball is for girls ages 7-8 and is designed to teach the fundamentals of softball, basic rules and major skills while sharing the joy of the game. At this level all pitches will be coach pitch to help create a level playing field at the plate. Games will be played at Zearing Park and various towns in District 20 Organization. 

Minor League League Softball is for girls ages 9-10 and is the next step from Instructional League. Players continue to build the skills and knowledge on the fundamentals of softball.  It becomes more organized in play and positions. The diamond used is a 60-foot diamond and the pitching distance is 35 feet. Games will be played at Zearing Park and various towns in District 20 Organization. 

 

 
Major League Softball League is for girls ages 11-12 and is a competitive division. Players should have an understanding of the rules of the game and acquired the skills and attitude necessary for a competitive game of softball. The diamond used is a 60-foot diamond and the pitching distance is 43 feet.  Games will be played at Zearing Park and various towns in District 20 Organization. 
 Junior League Softball League is for girls ages 13-14 and is a competitive division. Players should have an understanding of the rules of the game and acquired the skills and attitude necessary for a competitive game of softball. The diamond used is a 60-foot diamond and the pitching distance is 43 feet.  Games will be played at Zearing Park and various towns in District 20 Organization. 
 
Senior Softball League is for girls ages 14-16 and is a competitive division. Players should have an understanding of the rules of the game and acquired the skills and attitude necessary for a competitive game of softball. The diamond used is a 60-foot diamond and the pitching distance is 43 feet.  Games will be played at Zearing Park and various towns in District 20 Organization.
